We believe our courses can help save lives. As such, we want to ensure that everyone who attends one of our courses is able to fully access our content.
Let us know what you need to access any of our courses
When you book onto a course through the Recovery Confident website, please fill in the ‘Accessibility requirements’ section of the booking form and tell us what you need to access the course. For example:
- Wheelchair access
- Disabled parking space
- A hearing loop
- A sign language interpreter*
* Please specify on the booking form whether you will bring your own interpreter or need an interpreter to be arranged for you. Please note we will have to charge an additional cost to cover the cost of a hired interpreter.
How to choose the format of your course materials
As part of our sustainability efforts, all of our course materials are delivered in online PDF format. However, we do underststand that this isn’t always the best version for some individuals.
If you request any printed versions of our materials in the following formats, please give us a minimum of 14 working days notice from your booked course date:
- Standard print version
- Large print version
- Larger text size
- Tables expanded
- Visual descriptors to accompany images
